In the Air

Today is travel day.  The plane is due to leave at 1:07.  This is a win win for us since although we had 2 full days without too many commitments to pull it together.

So this morning the alarm went off at 6:15. Just because we werent really ready. Dan looks out the window and low and behold there are 2  sprinklers  making lowly fountains that dont belong. So he is off to the garden to complete repairs. Which is great for me since I still need to get things together

Fast forward 3 1/2 hours we are done and just finishing final touches. The plan to leave at 10. And we are out the door at 9:50.  At the airport 10:37. Way to early for me… but not for Mr Petersen. You can never be too early is his motto.

There are a ton of people here. While mid day flying is great because you have the morning to really get ready apparently so do many others.

It takes the gate agent a while to get through our profiles. Not sure what the hiccup is but finally completed.  Seems we had the same problem the last time we flew to Dublin in 2019.  Alas it was finally verified and booked with bording passes to dublin. Almost an hour until we were checked in and through TSA. Turns our we have an hour until boarding. I try and locate the nonexistent AA lounge. Once found it is closed due to capacity limitations oh well we are on the plane in 1 hour.  No need for a lounge.

It is a great day for flying  clear over San Diego and better than the 7am fly    See in flight photos  Next stop Chicago the Dublin    Talk later

Unable to load photos   A work in progress so need to fix   It is almost time to board second leg to Dublin
