We left Killarney and headed north. We headed to the little town of Adare. By heading inland and north the tour misses the Cliffs of Moher. I am so glad we saw them in 2019. They would remind you of Big Sur. Alas I digress. Adare is a tiny town with a grocery, some shops of course and a cute park and church. It is great on the tour that there are as many stops. Good to stretch and walk
After break time we headed to Galway. It is apparently a “bank holiday” on Monday so the town is busy lots of locals, a Saturday farmers market. We spent the time walking and watching people. Lots of street performers it would remind you of Burbon Street in New Orleans. All ages performing even young kids. We visited the 2 major churches in town. Stopping in a pub on the way back to the bus. Galway is compact along the river front. Lots of excitement going on as it is the closing days of the races in addition to being a holiday weekend
We will spend the night in Ballin this is probably about 1/2 way between Galway and Londonderry seems like a lot of coach hours today
